Dog sledding has always been a true part of Alaskan history and now on your Alaska cruise you can take part in this great Alaskan culture. You will be flown out to where the huskies are waiting for you. From there an experienced guide will walk you through everything. After how have been explained everything then you are off to drive your own dogsled team. Cost for this shore excursion is $428.00 per person.
For the less adventurous and budget minded cruisers there is the shore excursions called the Gold Creek Salmon Bake. Your salmon will be grilled over an alder wood fire ensuring the most scrumptious tasting salmon you have ever eaten.
