Did you know that most of the people who have just gotten married, and are planning the honeymoon spend it in Paris if it's possible? Paris is known for the love image, and a great thing to do is enjoy a honeymoon in Paris.

In fact, in some cases people actually go to Paris to get married. And then stay for the honeymoon as well.

There are so many different places to see and visit for newlyweds, and some restaurants will even throw receptions in the French style especially for the newlyweds. How awesome is that?

Last year the Hotel Ritz in Paris had over 900 honeymooners. That is a lot of newlyweds. I was amazed to find this little fact, because I thought it would be some other place, however the more you think about it, the more it makes sense.

Paris is a beautiful place, and even the French language is fluent and graceful. Not to mention, many of the hotels in Paris now have newlywed suites available, however you might want to call ahead to reserve your suite in advance, there are several people who go to Paris for their honeymoons and to spend those special days together starting their new lives in Paris.

Also, a lot of the weddings performed in Paris are performed outdoors, in a beautiful scenery and sometimes in the front of a historical landmark. The reason for this is that each year if it is possible the newlyweds return to this place.

Some wait and on say like their 25th wedding anniversary or something like that they will return to Paris and renew their vows at the same location. How sweet! While still yet there are others who go to reminisce about the last 25 years. Such as children, grandchildren, or things they've endured together all while talking and standing in the very place they said I do in the first place. It doesn't get any more romantic than that does it?

Paris has a lot of sites to see and also has a lot to offer for those tourists and visitors that come to Paris, yet it also is a place for different reasons, and accommodates almost any thing the couple has planned for a honeymoon, or a wedding in Paris.

It's not really expensive to organize and plan a wedding or honeymoon in Paris either, in a lot of instances, the hotels and resorts have special rates, if you tell them about the plans or what it is you are planning on doing.

Most of the hotels and resorts are more than happy to assist you. There are also those couples who have gotten married at the Disneyland resort. A fairytale wedding. Its so impressive to think about. I am beginning to think Paris is being under rated as far as the great things people can actually do while they are there. Or their reason for going to Paris in the first place. Paris is the city of lights, and some weddings are even performed at night in Paris under the stars.
